"I have a great feeling that this kit will not only help change the future of music but will inspire the next generation and more. I am so blessed to be able to share my sound with you all." – Dazmin D’Leon, 2024
Step inside the world of Dazmin’s Universe—a genre-blending collection of soul-infused piano motifs, bass lines, and clavinet riffs created and performed by Los Angeles recording artist, producer, and educator Dazmin D’Leon.
Produced by Dazmin herself, with executive production and sound design by Douglas Morton of Q Up Arts, this loop library is a deep and versatile toolkit for musicians, beatmakers, and composers working in hip hop, soul, R&B, gospel, jazz, pop, and cinematic genres.
Inside the collection:
-
Grand Piano Loops: Beautiful California Keys performances with an authentic, expressive touch. Jazzy chords reminiscent of Duke Ellington and Nina Simone, mixed with classical runs inspired by Beethoven and Richard Smallwood.
-
Clavinet and Electric Piano Loops (tine and reed): Loaded with funk and character, these loops reflect the stylings of Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and The Doors.
-
Organ Loops: Gospel-soaked lines and progressions with the flavor of Billy Preston, Twinkie Clark, and the reggae soul of Bob Marley.
-
Bass Lines: Warm, punchy, and rhythmically locked grooves inspired by the production energy of Dr. Dre and Timbaland.
Each loop is delivered as a 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV file for seamless use in any DAW—just drag and drop and start building your track.
About the Artist
Dazmin D’Leon’s roots in music run deep. She began playing piano and organ at age four, guided by the inspiration of her mother and grandparents. She was accepted into multiple top classical music schools in Los Angeles and Orange County, earning scholarships and awards while mastering music theory, composition, and performance.
While studying classical piano by day, Dazmin was learning to play by ear at church under the mentorship of Clyde Holmes and Anthony “A-Tone” Bryant. These dual influences shaped her unique voice as both a classically trained musician and a self-taught creator.
Her passion for beatmaking began at age 12 after hearing Tupac’s “I Get Around.” That moment sparked a lifelong journey into music production. She formed a high school band called Caramel, began writing original songs across genres, and eventually taught at the School of Rock, mentoring aspiring musicians while refining her own sound.
Today, Dazmin continues to rise through the L.A. music scene, performing at The Mint, The Whisky, and NAMM, and producing for some of the city’s most exciting emerging talent.
