– Dominic Mobilia

Dominic Mobilia is a composer, keyboardist, and music educator with over four decades of professional experience. Based in Connecticut, he is the founder and operator of EclecticStudio.net, where he continues to produce and educate with a focus on musical diversity and creative exploration.

Dominic holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Minor in Vocal/Choral Music from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford. While studying there, he developed a deep interest in 20th-century American orchestral literature and electronic music composition. His academic journey also introduced him to multicultural teaching philosophies through texts such as An Eclectic Approach to Orff and Kodály in the Elementary School, which influenced his use of folk and world music in classroom instruction.

His graduate work expanded on this foundation, including certification as a Kodály Music Specialist, in-depth study in child vocal development, electronic and classical composition, and training in studio production and engineering.

Today, Dominic combines his passion for composition with a lifelong commitment to music education, advocating for a broad and inclusive approach to learning and creativity—both in the classroom and the studio.
