Sam Cardon

Composer | Utah, USA

“In my career, I’ve often been called upon to compose for ethnically inspired films and media—and I was always searching for a way to convey the sounds I heard in my head to directors. It was a constant struggle, as those sounds didn’t exist in any synthesizer I owned. Enter Q Up Arts.

The first time I discovered the Native America series, it was a revelation. Not only were the samples pristine and the performances impeccable, but the organization was incredibly intuitive—even for someone as tech-challenged as myself.

I’ve since purchased Voices of Native America, Voices of Istanbul, Voices of the Aztecs, and Latin Groove Factory, and I’ve used them in countless film and television productions. The best compliment I can give—and something essential to every working composer—is this: they inspire. Thank you, Doug Morton and team, for your singular contribution to the world of sampling.” – Sam Cardon
